HDMC’s career training programs are designed to be as achievable as possible, with short program lengths, flexible learning formats, and a wide range of student support services and financial aid options to make your career training possible. Short Programs to Get You Trained Quickly

HDMC offers several short programs that can be completed in less than a year, including these programs which can be completed in as few as 9 months!

Medical Assistant – 34 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Medical Assistant Diploma
Dental Assistant – 34 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Dental Assistant Diploma and are prepared for industry certifications through organizations such as the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
Medical Billing and Coding Specialist – 35 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Diploma
Pharmacy Technician – 34 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Pharmacy Technician Diploma and are prepared for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam to earn the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
Veterinary Assistant – 35 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Veterinary Assistant Diploma

HDMC’s programs are offered in a hybrid-online format, allowing students to complete much of their coursework online, while attending on-campus labs for hands-on skills development. Students benefit from the flexibility of online classes – completing coursework when and where it works for them – while still gaining the benefits of in-person instruction and the close community of support that HDMC offers.

Hands-On Training to Prepare You for Your New Career

HDMC students receive personalized instruction under the guidance of professional faculty while they practice the skills they have learned. Students gain hands-on experience in on-campus labs, and also through off-site externships. Externships are included in each of HDMC’s short programs, allowing students to take the skills and knowledge they have learned through their coursework and apply them to a real-world setting. Throughout their time at HDMC, every student is provided with the guidance and support they need in order to be successful.
