HDMC is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) and licensed by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Specific programs also hold approvals from organizations including the BVNPT and ARRT.

High Desert Medical College has three campuses throughout Southern California, located in Lancaster, Bakersfield, and Temecula.

Many HDMC programs include an externship, giving you the opportunity to apply your skills in a real healthcare setting before graduation.
In addition, our Career Services team provides resume assistance, interview preparation, job search support, and connections with local employers to help you transition from student to healthcare professional.

Many students balance work, family, and school while attending HDMC. Most programs are offered in a hybrid format, combining online coursework with scheduled in-person labs, and several programs also offer evening options. Your Admissions Representative can help you choose a schedule that works best for your lifestyle.
HDMC’s Career Services team provides ongoing support to help students prepare for employment. Depending on your program, this may include externship placement, resume and cover letter assistance, interview preparation, job search guidance, and connections with local employers.
