High Desert Medical College utilizes Corsmed technology as part of our training program. The Corsmed MRI Simulator can simulate everything that happens within the MRI scanner, offering state-of-the-art educational modules that complement students’ training by providing remote hands-on MRI training, real-patient scanning cases and pathologies, didactic instruction, and assessment.

The MRI AAS program is designed to enable students to develop enhanced critical thinking skills, strong scientific knowledge, and effective verbal and written communication skills, becoming more well-rounded professionals and more qualified job candidates.

The MRI AAS program has a hybrid online format, combining theory coursework, hands-on training, and an externship to provide students with critical real-world experience. The MRI AAS program is 115 weeks long, with general education courses offered 100% online.

Graduates receive an Associate of Applied Science in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and will be prepared to immediately enter entry-level positions in the field.
