HDMC.edu Achieves 100% Pass Rate for Licensed Vocation Nurse Program this Quarter

Lancaster, California – December 4, 2018
For the last 9 months High Desert Medical College(HDMC) has achieved a 100% pass rate for its Licensed Vocational Nursing Programs. After completing the thirteen-month certificate program and on the job training, graduates must take and pass the required tests to become licensed. One hundred percent of graduates attempting the NCLEX test have passed.

High Desert’s next Vocational Nurse (VN) class is starting January 7th and still has a few open seats. “Demand for VN’s is not shrinking. Our program is an amazing opportunity to build an amazing career in the medical field,” added Dr. Michelle Welch, Director of Nursing for all campuses.
High Desert Medical College currently has more than 500 students studying seven allied healthcare programs that include Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Pharmacy Technician and an Ultrasound Technician program. Each program consists of small classes that feature hands on learning in addition to on the job learning. An important key to success is the time, that is required, to spend at a clinical site doing what the student has learned.
“The learning process was great. We spent time in the classroom with passionate teachers and then time applying what we learned at a medical site,” commented Lisa Strava, who graduated in 2017.
