Bianca, a Veterinary Assistant student at HDMC Temecula, was chosen for the Student Spotlight by her Instructor Sarah Morris. Ms. Morris appreciates Bianca’s work ethic and attitude, saying, “She excels in everything she does and is not afraid to get hands dirty! She is always the first to volunteer and it doesn’t matter if it’s a dissection or just walking animals. She always helps new students feel welcomed and I can honestly say has made me a better instructor because she makes me expect the unexpected!”

Bianca credits her instructor Sarah Morris for helping her along her path as she pursues her career as a Veterinary Assistant. Bianca says, “I never thought I’d be where I’m at today. If it wasn’t for my VA instructor, who knows what I’d be doing right now. Her dedication and willingness to provide unique experiences to her students makes all the difference in our ability to learn. Thank you, Sarah, for helping me get here.”

Kassandra Flemate, Veterinary Assistant program, HDMC Temecula

Kassandra Flemate, a student in Sarah Morris’ Temecula VA class as well, also credits her instructor with supporting her as she pursues her career path in veterinary assisting. The Veterinary Assistant program has developed my way of thinking and prepared me to start my career. The hands-on training was an incredible experience!”

Instructor Sarah Morris chose Kassandra to be featured in the Student Spotlight because of her dedication, effort, and potential. Ms. Morris says, “Kass is an individual whose work ethic is beyond compare. She’s so quiet in class, but brilliant and not afraid to get her hands dirty! She has worked in medical jobs prior, but has found passion in all her animals, thanks to her wonderful Husky Lobo! Kass is an individual who I know will go so far and will start changing the world!”
