HDMC and TLC –Training, Learning, Connecting have joined together to provide a CPR and First Aid Training Course to the Families and Friends of High Desert Medical College students and staff at a special reduced price.

Heartsaver CPR, AED, First Aid Training Course is for anyone who wants to learn life-saving skills or needs a course completion card to meet job or regulatory requirements (non-health care professionals).

This course will teach you to act in an emergency.  You will gain knowledge and skills that may help save a life.  You will learn the basics of first aid, the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, and how to help.  You will also learn how to recognize when someone needs CPR, use of an AED, and how to perform CPR on an Adult, Child and Infant.

*Training course is taught in accordance with the American Heart Association guidelines and a course completion card will be issued after successfully completing course requirements.

Per AHA Guidelines, you are required to have a current textbook for this course. The textbook is an additional fee.  You can order a hard copy or eBook at the time of class registration.  Cash or credit cards are accepted.   Hard Copy $20, eBook $16.
