HDMC is now an ITRAIN and CAL JOBS partner for MAA

asiannurseHigh Desert Medical College is excited to announce that we are now listed on ITRAIN and CAL JOBS for our Medical Administrative Assisting program.  HDMC is now a partner with the South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SWIB) – an agency for the state of California that pays for training services to unemployed people looking to seek a new career field.

How does it work?  Go to your unemployment office and meet with a counselor looking for resources to train for a new career. High Desert Medical College is on the listings ITRAIN and CAL JOBS that give the unemployment counselors schools that SWIB finances the training. The counselor will give you a voucher which you bring to HDMC to attend. Both of our campuses are listed on this site – Bakersfield and Lancaster.

Contact HDMC today if you or someone you know is unemployed.  You may qualify for training services to be paid through the State and start training for a Medical Administrative Assistant soon!
