Yes. High Desert Medical College offers eligible adults the opportunity to earn their high school diploma online through our educational partner, Excel High School. This stand-alone option allows you to complete your diploma without enrolling in an HDMC career training program.
The high school diploma program is completed online, allowing you to work through your required coursework at your own pace. Students have 24/7 access to their coursework and can also use the computer lab at their local High Desert Medical College campus during normal business hours.
Eligibility depends on your previous high school education and the coursework you still need to complete. Complete the High School Diploma Inquiry Form or contact HDMC Admissions to have your eligibility reviewed and learn more about your next steps.
No. The stand-alone high school diploma program does not require you to enroll in an HDMC healthcare career training program. If you are interested in earning your high school diploma while also training for a healthcare career, HDMC offers a separate Eligible Career Pathway Program (ECPP) option for qualifying students.
